Custom Designer/Manufacturer of Horse Drawn Vehicles for The Greenbrier® Express Transport
"World Class Carriages for a World Class Resort"
We are the contracted designer and manufacturer of custom horse drawn vehicles for The Greenbrier®. These vehicles are to hold a maximum 24 adults each and transport them from the Greenbrier Express train to the resort's grand entrance. The purpose of this page is to showcase the project in progress.
Out of only a few qualified carriage builders here in North America, Great Northern
Livery Company, Inc. was chosen by The Greenbrier® to build their custom carriages.
The carriages are part of an endeavor of bringing in an actual restored and complete antique train
into The Greenbrier® main complex; these carriages will then take the passengers
from the depot to the Grand Entrance of The Greenbrier Resort®, where they will be
greeted with white gloved butlers offering champagne to the new arrivals. This will
be a monumental task for the Great Northern Livery Company. Nowhere in the world
has there been a more elaborate carriage build of this kind ever done. Stay tuned

The prototype build is 95% completed and looking fabulous!
