This page is a personal contribution from the web master, Peg Arnoldussen. I met John and Susan through a mutual friend and became their web master because they needed one. I didn't need another project, so hadn't wanted the job. Some time has passed since then. John and Susan are no longer employers; they are friends. I love them dearly. Visiting them is one of my favorite things to do, as they have completely won my heart. They did not set out to win my heart. It's just that, having gotten to know them, I can't help but love them. Pardon me if I sound sappy. I'm just stating the truth. This collection of photos is from a recent visit. We spent the day looking at Susan's vacation photos, eating zucchini bread, wandering the property, and they treated me to a surrey ride. It was wonderful. Rita is John and Susan's newest equine addition and their driving horse. She's a 12 year old standardbred mare who spent most of her life as an Amish carriage horse. For her, this new life is "retirement." Ibn has been with Lemons all his life. He's an Egyptian Arabian. Cal, a Polish Arabian, is a recent addition. Put your pointer on each photo to read the captions.
