Dear John,
It is with considerable pride and pleasure that I write this letter.
Early this year I made the determination to introduce some horse-drawn vehicles into my antique tractor museum. I searched the internet for interesting carriage builders and interviewed several. In part, because you listed an after hours number and were willing to actually answer your phone after hours (I happened to be out of the country in a much different time zone), I was successful in coming to terms on the construction of a hotel surrey.
After a brief discussion learning more about your background and your method of doing business, I quickly came to the realization that I was dealing with no ordinary builder, but rather, a craftsman. You explained that coach building was your career for the last 46 years. Having spent 35 years owning and operating my own real estate property management company, I occasionally had the privilege of meeting true craftspeople. You, like they, are a rare breed who continue to create works of art, not just production line items. After reviewing your recommended set of options, I quickly became comfortable with your approach and commissioned the job.
Now that the surrey has been received, I look back on the entire experience with great satisfaction, and honestly believe you will someday build my next dream, a stagecoach. Until then, I am extremely happy with a centerpiece you and your team have created for my museum/social center. Everyone who has seen the carriage has marveled at the beauty, especially the fit and finish.
In short, from the first contact through the final confirmation of the successful delivery you have been a pleasure to work with and have communicated in a way that has always given me comfort that you knew and were on top of every detail of the project. I couldn't be happier with the entire process and the final results.
Very truly yours,
